How Offline Validation Works

  1. Cryptographic Digital Tokens: When a hotel concierge or tour operator issues an activity voucher, a digitally signed token is embedded into the QR code and stored in the local client database.
  2. Zero-Latency Offline Scanning: River dispatchers at Jetty 4 or raft guides at the base of Batoka Gorge scan the guest's QR code using any smartphone or tablet camera.
  3. Instant Status Confirmation: The terminal confirms voucher validity, guest headcount (pax), dietary requirements, and pickup point with no internet connection required.
  4. Automatic Ledger Sync: Once the device reconnects to Wi-Fi or cellular network, all validation timestamps and audit trails sync automatically to the central cloud ledger.
